Entrance to the office has a step up, but there is a portable ramp on site. Entrance to the office does not have accessible door hardware. Office has a raised registration desk/ counter (appx. 43” high) but a clipboard and/or portable table will be provided on request. There is not an accessible 36” wide route through the office. Entrance Accessibility

General Accessibility of Areas, Facilities, and Amenities

Public areas/ facilities accessible for persons with disabilities. Outside bar is approximately 43” high. Small bridge is not accessible (has excessive slopes and does not have accessible handrails). Small bridge can be bypassed by using other nearby routes. Outside tables have raised bases and do not provide a full 17” of clear floor space beneath them.

Payment:

Guestrooms include a suite, 2-bedroom suite, and standard guestroom. Guestrooms are not accessible. Guestrooms have a step up at the entrance, but there is a portable ramp on site. Guestroom bathing facilities include tubs and/or shower, but they are not accessible. Guestroom beds are 27” high (i.e. queen-sized beds). Guestrooms do not provide Braille room numbers. Guestrooms doors are 34” door wide. Guestrooms doors have round door handles. Guestrooms have 5’ x 5’ clear floor space and maneuvering clearance for wheelchair within the guestroom. Guestroom suites provide an accessible table. Guestroom restrooms do not provide accessible lavatories. Guestroom restroom do not provide accessible water closets/ toilets. Guestroom restrooms do not have accessible grab bars at the water closet or tubs/ shower. Guestroom does not provide roll-in shower. The Casitas Coral Ridge was original constructed in 1957. Since the passage of the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) no alterations have been performed, but we have undertaken projects and implemented changes to improve accessibility, to the extent readily achievable. However, we are not and cannot be fully accessible to every individual with a disability depending on their particularly disability and need for accommodation. We have attempted to identify and describe features at the Casitas Coral Ridge and its guestrooms in enough detail to reasonably permit individuals with disabilities to assess independently whether the Casitas Coral Ridge meets their own accessibility needs. However, we cannot possible list each and every feature of every room, amenity, space or element applicable under the ADA.
